Arthuriana: Early Arthurian Tradition and the Origins of the Legend was first published in 2009. It collects together the academic and popular articles on this topic written by Dr Caitlin Green from 1998 to 2009. 

Chapters include 'The Historicity and Historicisation of Arthur', which asks whether there was ever a 'historical King Arthur' and includes a detailed discussion and analysis of the early sources; 'A Bibliographic Guide to the Welsh Arthurian Literature', which looks in depth at all of the Arthurian references found in medieval Welsh manuscripts; 'A Gazetteer of Arthurian Onomastic and Topographic Folklore', which discusses the origins and importance of British Arthurian folklore and includes a gazetteer of all of the sites in Britain associated with King Arthur's name in local folklore; 'Myrddin & Merlin: A Guide to the Early Evolution of the Merlin Legend'; and 'Arthur and Jack the Giant-Killer', which looks at the Arthurian links of the fairy-tale adventures of the Jack the Giant-Killer and includes an edition of the original chapbook tale of Jack from a copy dated 1787.
